Highlights for December

1. Leisure Skills

We have started attending music class with Ms. Rebecca. We start with singing the "Hello" song and then we use the rhythm sticks. We have been singing "5 Green Speckled Frogs" and "Frosty the Snowman". Our favourite part of music class is doing the actions while singing along. At the end of music class we sing the "Goodbye" song.

2. Art/Literacy

We created mittens and a hat with water colour paints, yarn, and cotton balls. We then wrote phrases about our art. For example, we wrote "I have a red hat." And "I have blue mittens". We strung our phrases along the yard attached to our mittens. This art served as our contribution to the Tuscany Winter Celebration and the Window Art festival. You can view our contribution in the Winter Celebration video which was sent via SchoolMessenger. Our art was sent home in the blue folders for you to display at home.
