Highlights of September

1. Social Interaction

We met our new EES classmates and staff. Some students came from the same program and already knew each other. But most of EES students met each other for the first time. We are working on how to make new friends, how to invite others to play, how to be a good friend, how to take turns, and how to share toys and equipment with our friends.

2. Functional Living Skills

As we continue to transition into our new school and new classroom, we are starting to learn how to follow the routines and schedules. Our goal as a class is to become more independent with initiating and following our daily routines (i.e. arrival routine, calendar routine, individual programming routine, etc.).
